All pet sitting services are to be paid in advance. Payment must be made during the initial client interview, when the first pet sitting booking is scheduled. Please be aware that your pet sitting is not confirmed until payment is received.
Our basic pet sitting charge for morning, afternoon and evening appointments consists of up to 20-30 minutes filled with
special attention. Food & water bowls are washed and re-filled according to our client's directions.
Your pet sitter will remove animal waste and dispose in the appropriate containers.
Our pet sitting visits include a house check for hairballs or accidents. Your pet sitter will then visit with your pet giving praise and play time (balls, feathers, strings, brushing or petting). If your dog is leash trained, your pet sitter will take your pet on a walking potty break; weather permitting. During extreme weather conditions your pet sitter will use caution in exercising your pet outside. If it's too hot your pet sitter will take your pet for a potty break and then have more inside activity rather than risk their health.
Before your pet sitter leaves they always do a nose count for those shy ones.
You might also want to consider additional human companionship while you are away. All pets miss you more than you will ever know. You are their family! When you are gone, pets get lonely. Sometimes they will take out these frustrations on furniture or floors. My Pets Pal encourages pet owners to consider purchasing a little extra pet sitting time or an extra session to help fill your pets social needs. Buying an extra pet sitting hour or so allows your pet sitter to play, brush or just visit more with your pet.
We've noticed that after three days, animals seem to need continuous human companionship. This service of course is optional but highly recommended for those special ones left home alone.
Cats also do better with a daily visit. Although they are more independent, they too need human companionship. We also feel that for the safety of the animals in your home, they should be checked daily.
